RURAL METRO FIREFIGHTERS TO PARTICIPATE IN 9/11 MEMORIAL RUN IN FULL TURNOUT GEAR

(YUMA, Ariz.) — Firefighters from Rural Metro’s Yuma operation will participate in the Tunnels to Towers 5K Run and Walk on September 11, 2021. Each participant from Rural Metro will pay tribute to one of the 343 fallen FNDY firefighters who died in the line of duty on September 11, 2001, by completing the 5K run in full turnout gear. The Tunnels to Towers run benefits the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, which honors our nation’s first responders and veterans. The foundation runs several programs, including building Smart Homes for veterans and first responders who have been injured in the line of duty.
